How the Plan Works
- When you enroll, choose a doctor that is right for your child. We can help you find a doctor, and you can change doctors for any reason.
- Your doctor will help with all of your child’s health care needs and refer you to a specialist or hospital when needed.
- We will mail you a member I.D. card. Keep this card with you and show it when your child goes to the doctor, hospital or pharmacy.
- For after-hours care, call our 24-hour telephone helpline (for emergencies, call 911, or go to the nearest hospital emergency room).
