Children's Access to Primary Care Practitioners Children Ages 12-18 Years
This measure describes children ages 12 years through 18 years who were continuously enrolled during 2008 and 2009, and who had a visit with a primary care practitioner during either year.
Why is this important?
Teens who go to the doctor each year are more likely to learn about how to be healthy, prevent accidents, injuries, pregnancy and avoid using drugs and alcohol than teens who do not go to the doctor.
Find your plan score. Look for differences of at least 4%. Smaller differences usually are not significant.
