Recent Enhancement to the Healthy Families Automated Phone System

Healthy Families recently enhanced our automated phone system to better serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
You can now find out what health, dental and vision plans are available to you within your zip code area. You can also submit a plan transfer request through the automated phone system. Even though you submit a request to change plans, you cannot use your new plan selection yet. Healthy Families still needs to process your transfer request. We will send you a letter, letting you know if your transfer is approved. If it is approved, the letter will tell you when coverage with the new plan begins.
You can request a transfer to change your child's health, dental or vision plan to another plan in the following situations:
- Your child was recently enrolled in Healthy Families within the last 3 months. You can only change your plans one time during the 3-month period; or
- You moved and your child's plans are not available in the new zip code area;
- You request a transfer during Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment begins on July 15th and ends on August 31st; or
- You want to change your plans after you transferred during Open Enrollment. Your request must be received within 30 days from October 1st.
