CAA and Certified Plan Staff Web-Based Training Refresher Course

The Certified Application Assistants (CAA) Refresher Course, which can be accessed at http://training.healthyfamilies.ca.gov is a self-paced, web-based, interactive course covering information intended for CAAs and Certified Plan Staff who help families enroll their children in no-cost Medi-Cal or the Healthy Families Program.

This course provides a review of specific topics and concepts with which CAAs and Certified Plan Staff commonly have difficulty. It includes information such as the application process; financial responsibility; health, vision, dental plan selection; and the appeals process. Existing CAAs and Certified Plan Staff may use this Refresher Course to look up certain information. It is not intended as a replacement for the initial CAA training.
